Joy is a registered dietitian interested in nutrition research, particularly related to women’s reproductive health and sports nutrition. She received her Bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University, where she was a research assistant primarily studying cardiometabolic outcomes and associations between diet and physical activity in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). She later completed her supervised dietetics practice training at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center, concentrating in clinical nutrition research. Joy is interested in how specific dietary patterns and modifications can lead to improved management of PCOS.
